The Best Designed Yachts

YACHTAREA is working on a list of the best yachts recently designed. We are looking for the bold and the beautiful, the new, the inspiring yachts. It has to have a strong identity, but not necessarily Star Wars futuristic looks. The list will be built gradually, with additions made as we find worthy candidates. Feel free to let us know, by mail or comments, what you think should get praised.

  1. I think Nuvolari and Lenards designs over the last few years have really captured the style of yachting. Check them out

  2. The designer engineer duo of N and L certainly makes some quality yachts! Alfa Nero, which the editor had the chance to study up close in St. Barts is spectacular with its endless pool on the aft part of the ship. Palmer Johnson 120 is another good example

  3. During the British civil war in 1642, Charles II was sent to a refuge island for safety, he soon fell in love with yachting which he did in his past time, and soon when he was re-instated as a king in 1660 he promoted yachting as a leisure and recreational activity in England. fountainhead yacht
